experience of Garmin’s eTrex series combined with a full basemap of the Americas, the
Atlantic or the Pacific and 8 megabytes of internal memory for your optional maps.
The eTrex Legend receives position corrections from WAAS, which just fortifies its
already spot-on positioning data. When you turn on WAAS, your eTrex Legend’s position
reporting accuracy increases to within three meters.
The eTrex Legend’s basemap covers lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and
state highways, railroads and coastlines. It is also preloaded with marine navigation
aids. And you can use those 8 megabytes of memory to add all the mapping detail you
want, choosing from Garmin’s entire line of MapSource mapping products.
