Slim and stylish
The nüvi 1250 is 25 percent slimmer than other nuvis, and the 1200 and widescreen
1300 series make for perfect travel tools. nüvi 1250 fits perfectly in your pocket or
purse and, with the lithium-ion battery, it’s ideal for navigating by car or foot.
Plus, nüvi 1250T’s Public Transit mode uses optional download CityXplorer to help you
navigate public transportation, including subways, trams and buses.
Know where you’re going
Your nüvi 1250 has an intuitive interface that is easy to use. Just touch the color
screen to quickly find addresses and services and for voice-prompted turn-by-turn
navigation. The nüvi 1250 is preloaded with City Navigator NT street maps. It shows
you nearly 6 million points of interest, 2-D or 3-D maps and speed limits for most
major roads. You also get digital elevation maps that show you shaded contours at
higher zoom levels, so you’ll always know your surrounding terrain. Its enhanced user
interface means you can conveniently scroll between screens with the swipe of a
finger. nüvi 1250 uses HotFix satellite prediction to calculate your position and get
you to your destination as quickly as possible. Oh, and if nüvi 1250’s millions of
points of interest aren’t enough for you, you can always upload your own.
So much more than navigation
Yes, nüvi 1250 will quickly get you where you’re going, but there’s so much more to
enjoy. For instance, ecoRoute is a green feature that calculates your most
fuel-efficient route and tracks fuel usage. It also has myriad travel tools,
including a JPEG viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter,
measurement converter, calculator and more.
Photo navigation allows you to download pictures from Garmin Connect Photos and
navigate to them. And nüvi 1250 is compatible with MSN Direct, though a receiver
purchase and subscription are required. nüvi 1250’s “Where Am I” emergency locator
always shows your location, especially when you need it most. Just tap the screen to
get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates. “Where Am I” will also show you
the nearest address and intersection, hospitals, police stations and gas stations.
Your nüvi 1250 also comes with Garmin Lock anti-theft feature, and works with the
free Garmin Garage, where you can download custom voices and vehicles. Plus, optional
plug-in microSD cards enhance your nüvi 1250 experience.
