The Quick Release Kit was new and it works fine too. The only area for improvement on my purchase with was on delivery: my purchase happened on March 13 and Fed Ex Tracking said they didn''t even pick up the package until March 18 thus dooming it to a very slow delivery.

The quick release clamp on the back of the watch makes it slightly thicker. However the convenience of moving the watch from bike to wrist with a twist is completely worth the extra cm of depth! I love it!
