Always know the next turn
Your nüvi 50LM has an intuitive interface that is easy to use. Just touch the screen
to quickly find addresses and services and for voice-prompted turn-by-turn
navigation. The nüvi 50LM comes in two mapping versions and with preloaded maps for
the lower 49 states and Canada. nüvi 50LM shows you the speed limit for most major
roads, and the “Where Am I?” emergency locator always tells you where you are. The
nüvi 50LM is also preloaded with millions of points of interest. If that’s not
enough, you can also add your own.
Free maps for life
Your nüvi 50LM comes with free map updates. That means your device will always be up
to date as you easily download the most up-to-date maps, points of interest and
navigation information up to four times per year. Your map updates require no
subscription or update fees, and have no expiration dates.
Get in the right lane, even if it’s the left lane
With nüvi 50LM, you don’t have to worry about figuring out the correct lane to exit
unfamiliar roads or interchanges. That’s because, in select metropolitan areas, lane
assist with junction view helps you choose the appropriate lane for turning or
exiting. As you approach an exit or interchange, nüvi 50LM shows you road signs and
arrows indicating the lane you need to be in for your interchange.
